Group ecards for the office: one card, everyone's faces

Office group ecards with up to four coworkers' real faces dancing in one video. For birthdays, retirements, holiday parties and goodbyes.

A group ecard for the office doesn't have to be a link that twelve people sign "HBD!!" and one person signs with a paragraph. On Tangy Limes, one card holds up to four real faces, cut out of a photo, dancing in a short music video to an original song. Put the guest of honor in it with three coworkers, post it in the team chat, and the whole office gets to watch.

How it works for a group, in short:

  • Pick a card for the occasion and check how many faces it takes (one to four).
  • Upload a group photo, or a few separate ones, and tap to choose who goes on which dancer.
  • Type who it's to and who it's from, like "from the whole support team."
  • Watch the preview free, then download it and share one link with everyone.

Now, what fits each office occasion.

Somebody's birthday

Surprise Party fits four: the birthday person and three of you. It has a giant cake, confetti cannons and a backyard bounce house, which is probably not where your team usually hangs out, and that's what makes it funny. Put the person who always remembers everyone's birthday in it. They never get one.

The holiday party

Ugly Sweater Party fits three, and it opens at a tacky office holiday party, tinsel on everything and a disco ball overhead, so it's basically a documentary. Holiday Boy Band fits four in a late-90s boy band video with fake snow and lasers. Cast the department heads. Somebody has to be the heartthrob, and it's funnier when they didn't volunteer.

A retirement

No More Mondays is the retirement card, and the headline says HAPPY RETIREMENT. It fits two faces, so put the retiree in it with their longest-suffering desk neighbor, or with their spouse, who is about to have them home all day.

If you were hoping for a free retirement ecard from the group, straight answer: this one isn't free. Making it and watching it with your photos is. Keeping it is $1.99. Split eight ways, that's about a quarter each, and someone in accounting will still make a spreadsheet for it.

Someone's leaving

For a sincere goodbye, Thank You! is a one-face card with THANK YOU in big letters. For a coworker who's leaving on good terms and has a sense of humor, Don't Let the Door Hit You says BYE, and it's one of our anti-cards, so it's a roast. Send it to the coworker everybody likes. Never to the one people actually wanted gone. That's how a joke becomes a meeting with HR.

Getting everyone's faces

Most offices have a group photo somewhere, from the holiday party or the offsite where everyone wore lanyards. Upload it, and every face in it gets found. Then you tap to choose who goes on which dancer. No group photo? Upload a few separate ones and take a face from each. The work badge photo counts, and it's funnier than it has any right to be.

The faces are real cutouts, nothing redrawn by AI, so everyone is recognizable, for better or worse. Type the names into the intro ("To Dana, from the third floor"), and rewrite the headline if the occasion calls for it. Turn on captions too, for whoever watches it at their desk on mute.

Sending it

Make a share link and drop it in the team chat, or email it from the card page to up to five people. Download the MP4 if you want it on the big screen at the party. If your team does a card every month, a pack of 3 is $5.99, which covers a quarter if your office has one birthday a month. One card on its own is $1.99, with no account to set up and nobody getting billed monthly.
