You can make one holiday video card and send everyone on your list their own copy, with their name in it. Make the card once, then paste or upload the list. Sarah's card opens with "For Sarah" and ends with "Merry Christmas, Sarah! Love, the Cohens", and Dave's says Dave.

How it works
- Make the card. Pick one, add your photo, and watch the free preview. Holly Jolly Family fits four faces, so the whole household can be in it.
- Type your From name ("the Cohens"). The To name is filled in for each person from your list.
- Buy it ($1.99) and make a share link.
- Add your list in the "Send it to a whole list" box. One person per line, name then email. You can also upload a CSV or a contacts file (.vcf), or on Android, pick from your contacts.
- Pay for the personal cards and you're done. Up to 10 people is $1, up to 25 is $2, up to 100 is $3. (The regular email box sends the same card, with the one name you typed, to up to 5 people free.)

What each person gets
- A subject line with their first name: "Sarah, the Cohens sent you a card."
- A still from your card, the card's big line ("Merry Christmas!"), and your note if you wrote one.
- A button to watch it. Their card plays in any browser, no app, with their name at the start and on the closing banner.
- Replies come to your email, if you typed it in.

Getting the list out of where it lives now
- iPhone contacts: in Contacts, tap Lists, long-press All Contacts, choose Export, and upload the .vcf file.
- Google Contacts: contacts.google.com, Export, vCard.
- A spreadsheet or Outlook: export or save as CSV. Any columns work as long as one has the email; a "Name" column is used if there is one.
- Last year's Christmas card list on paper: type it in, one person per line. Twenty names take about five minutes.
You'll see the count and the price before you pay, and the same email address is only sent once even if it appears twice.

Dates to plan around this season
Hanukkah starts at sundown on Friday, December 4. Christmas is Friday, December 25. Send a few days early, while people are still checking email.
