For New Year's Eve, send your crew Midnight Countdown: a Tangy Limes music video starring four of your friends' real faces, cut out of one photo, singing an original New Year's song. It's a balloon drop, fireworks at midnight, a pajama party and a rooftop, and the preview with their faces in it is free.
New Year's Eve 2026 is Thursday, December 31. Make the card that afternoon, while you can still read a screen. At midnight you'll have one job, and it's pasting a link.
The short version:
- The night itself: Midnight Countdown, four faces
- Hosting: House Party Invite, sent ahead
- Going out: Epic Night Out, four faces
- January 1: Hungover, one or two faces

Midnight Countdown
Four of you in sequins open in a sparkly ballroom, doing cheesy shoulder shimmies and the sprinkler while balloons drop from the ceiling. Out on a crowded city street at midnight, fireworks go off overhead and everyone's in puffy coats. The living-room party is tacky in the right way: streamers, a disco ball, matching pajamas, feather boas and a kick line. The last scene is a rooftop at night, tuxedos on, skyline lit up behind you.
Four faces fit. Choose the four most likely to still be awake.

If you're hosting
Send the invite a week out. House Party Invite already says YOU'RE INVITED and fits three hosts, from an open front door with balloons to a living room turned dance floor. Change the headline to NYE AT OURS and put the address in the text, not the card, so people can paste it into a maps app.

If you're going out
Epic Night Out says WHAT A NIGHT and fits four: a neon nightclub with lasers and glow sticks, a rooftop over the city, a private karaoke room, and a taco truck to finish, as tradition demands.

January 1
Hungover says SO HUNGOVER and fits one or two faces. It wakes up in a trashed apartment with streamers on the floor and sun blasting through the window, shuffles through a kitchen of dirty dishes, collapses on a couch buried in pizza boxes, and recovers on a brunch patio. Send it around noon to the friend who swore they were leaving early.

Making it
Find a photo of the crew, faces toward the camera, mouths visible. Last New Year's photo is a strong choice, for reasons the group will remember. Pick the card, tap to choose who goes on which dancer, and type the names for the intro. Rewrite the headline if you like: SAME CREW, NEW YEAR. WE MADE IT, BARELY. NEW YEAR, SAME BAD DECISIONS.
The faces are real cutouts from your photo, not AI versions of your friends, and only the mouths move. If a head looks too big for its dancer, shrink it.

Sending it
Make a share link and drop it in the group chat. It opens a plain web page that plays the card, so nobody has to install or sign in to anything right after midnight. Or download the video, tall for Stories or wide for the TV at the party.
A card is $1.99 to keep, and there's no subscription, so that's one resolution you don't have to make.
