Our rule for a funny Christmas card: make it about the family that's sending it. Your actual year, your actual dog, the uncle who blinks in every photo. A pun about Santa's sleigh is fine. A line about how you spent March assembling a bunk bed with one wrong screw is better, because only you could have sent it.
