If you're looking for a birthday Elf Yourself, or one for Hanukkah, here's the version we make: your face, cut out of one photo, on a dancer in a short music video with an original song for the day, mouth moving to the words. For a birthday, pick Birthday Disco Fever or Surprise Party. For Hanukkah, pick Latke Party or Happy Hanukkah. For actual elves in December, pick Holiday Boy Band.
It's the same joke you loved, in a different outfit. You watch the whole thing free with your faces in it before you pay a cent, and it takes one photo. Here's what's in each.

The birthday version of Elf Yourself
Swap the elf hats for sequins and a cake.
Birthday Disco Fever fits three. A light-up disco floor under a giant mirror ball, everyone in bell bottoms doing the hustle, then a neon roller rink, a party room full of gold balloons, and a frosted cake with sparkler candles. Matching outfits, a synchronized routine, and people you know doing moves they would never do in real life.
Surprise Party fits four. A living room full of streamers where everyone leaps out yelling surprise, then a kitchen with a giant cake, a backyard with a bounce house and a sprinkler, and confetti cannons to finish. Put the birthday person in the middle and the three people who planned it around them, so credit is assigned correctly.
The big headline on every card can be rewritten, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY can become HAPPY 40TH, DAVID or WE'RE STILL NOT TELLING YOU HOW OLD YOU LOOK. The full lineup, including one-face cards and a dog one, is on the birthday cards page.

An Elf Yourself for Hanukkah
Hanukkah is eight nights of the family group chat, and a menorah emoji only works once.
Latke Party fits three. A dining room in blue and silver with a menorah in the window, a kitchen with latkes sizzling next to a mountain of potatoes somebody has to grate, a living room with a giant inflatable dreidel, and gold chocolate coins flying at the end. Everyone's in white holiday sweaters doing linked kicks, and somebody's aunt is in the middle.
Happy Hanukkah is built tall for phones and works with one face or two. Menorah glow, latkes on the stove, a giant spatula flip and a lot of shimmying. Give one to the grandparent who deserves their own card, and post it in your Stories after they've seen it.
Our Hanukkah video cards post has more on both.

You still want the elves
It's December, you want your face on a dancing elf, we're not going to argue. Holiday Boy Band fits four and has a Santa's workshop scene with toys, wrapped presents, green costumes and pointy shoes. Then it gets ambitious: matching white outfits on a stage with fake snow and lasers, ugly sweaters by the fireplace, and neon ski suits at a snowy mountain resort. Dancing elves with your face, plus a boy band reunion nobody asked for.
Making one:
- Pick a card.
- Upload a photo or take one on your phone. Group shots work; you tap to choose who dances where.
- Type the names for the intro.
- Watch the free preview with your faces in it.
The faces are real cutouts from your photo, with no AI changes, and only the mouths move. If a head looks too big for its dancer, shrink it and say nothing. Keeping a card is $1.99, with no subscription, and you can send a share link that plays in any chat or email it to up to five people from the card page. Go find the photo where everyone's eyes are open. It's in there somewhere.
