What we collect, and why

• Your photos. Faces are found and cut out in your browser. A photo only leaves your device when you save a face to your account, or when you buy a card and make a share link (then the finished video is stored so the link works). You can delete saved faces on your account page.
• Your email. If you sign in, buy, or send a card, we keep your email to send sign-in links, receipts and the cards you ask us to send.
• People you send cards to. Names and emails you type, paste or upload for a send are used to email them that card. Birthdays you save are used to remind you and, if you paid for birthday sends, to send each card on the day.
• Payments. Stripe handles card payments. We never see or store your card number.
• Visit counts. We count page visits and steps (opened a card, added faces, paid) with no cookies for ads and no tracking across other sites.

Google contacts

If you press "Import birthdays from Google", you sign in with Google and allow Tangy Limes to read your contacts once (Google's contacts.readonly permission). We read each contact's name, email address and birthday, and show you the contacts that have a birthday. Only the people you tick and save are kept, in your Tangy Limes birthday list, so we can remind you and send the cards you ask for. Contacts you don't save are deleted within 30 minutes.

We use the access only for that one import. We don't keep the Google sign-in token (it is revoked right after the import), we don't read your contacts again unless you press the button again, and we don't change or delete anything in your Google account.

Tangy Limes' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't sell Google user data, use it for ads, share it with anyone except the services that run the site (below), or use it to train AI models. No person at Tangy Limes reads it, except with your permission to fix a problem you report, or where the law requires.

Calendars you connect

If you paste a calendar's private address, we read it once a day to find birthday events and add them to your list. Press Disconnect on your account page to stop.

Who else handles it

Vercel (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email) and ElevenLabs (singing custom songs, only the words you write). Each uses the data only to provide its service to us.

Keeping and deleting

You can remove birthdays, saved faces and a connected calendar yourself on your account page. To delete everything we hold about you, email cards@jejestudios.com from your address and we'll do it within 30 days. You can also remove Tangy Limes' access in your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Children

Tangy Limes isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
