A funny get well ecard has one job: make someone who feels lousy laugh for 40 seconds, ideally without pulling any stitches. Ours is a short singing video card where your face, and theirs if you want, gets cut out of a photo and dances through a sickbed, a blanket fort, a doctor's office and a park, mouths moving to an original song.
You make it on Tangy Limes, preview it free, and text them the link. They watch it under a blanket. Nobody has to get up.

The card: Get Well Soon
Get Well Soon fits two faces. It opens in a cozy, messy bedroom with way too many pillows, both dancers in fuzzy pajamas and socks, holding mugs of soup and doing a sleepy sway. Then a living room blanket fort with fairy lights, where the blankets turn into capes and everyone twirls. Then a bright doctor's office, one dancer in a white coat and stethoscope, the other in scrubs, waving a thermometer and a lollipop. It ends in a sunny park full of colorful balloons, everybody bouncing like they're cleared for activity.
Bed, fort, doctor, freedom. If you've had the flu, you've lived this order of events.
The headline says GET WELL SOON, and you can type over it. There's an intro with the names, the four dance scenes, and the song, about 40 seconds total. The faces are real cutouts with nothing redrawn by AI. Only the mouths move, so your friend who can barely talk right now gets to sing.

Who to put in it
Two faces, a few ways to cast it:
- You and them. You in the white coat, them in the pajamas. You have no medical training, which is the joke.
- Them, twice. Same face on both dancers. They're the patient and the doctor, and they're also the only one who believes they'll be back at work Monday.
- Their kid and their dog. Dog faces get found too, and a pet's face can go on any dancer. A dog with a stethoscope is a strong bedside manner.
One photo is plenty. If you don't have a photo of the two of you together, use two separate ones and take a face from each. A head too big? Shrink it. Hair got clipped? Paint it back.

What to write
Keep it light and aim the joke at the situation, not the diagnosis. Some headlines that work:
- GET WELL SOON. THE GROUP CHAT IS BORING.
- STOP FAKING IT. WE MISS YOU.
- DOCTOR'S ORDERS: WATCH THIS 40 TIMES
- HEAL FASTER. I'M NOT WALKING YOUR DOG FOREVER.
- YOU LOOK GREAT (WE CAN'T SEE YOU)
And the text you send with it can be short: "Made you a get well card. I'm the doctor. Please don't sue." If they're really unwell, swap the headline for something softer, like THINKING OF YOU. Same card, gentler sign.

Sending it, and the thank-you after
Make a share link on the card page and text it to them. It's a plain web page that plays the video, so there's no app for them to download from their sickbed. You can also download the MP4 or email it to up to five people, which covers the friend who's in the hospital and their mom, who may forward it to the entire extended family.
It's $1.99 to keep a card, paid once, with no subscription waiting to renew while you're both distracted. The preview is free, so you can make it, watch it, and decide if the stethoscope suits you.
When they're back on their feet, there's Thank You!, a one-face card with THANK YOU in big letters, if they want to thank whoever brought the soup.
