A funny cat birthday card has one requirement: the cat has to look like it did not agree to this. On Tangy Limes, that's built in. You upload a photo of your cat, its real face is cut out of the picture and put on a dancing cat, and it sings an original birthday song with its mouth moving to the words. Your cat's actual expression, which is usually contempt, now has choreography.
Here are the cards, then sayings to put on them.

The cards
Pawty Animals is the birthday card for the cat. It fits two people and two pets, and the dancers include an orange tabby and a black-and-white tuxedo cat, wiggling their hips while a birthday banner falls. It starts at a backyard party with balloons, streamers and a cake on the picnic table, then moves to a living room under a disco ball with confetti everywhere. If there's a dog in the house, the dog can come. The cat will have feelings about that, and they'll be visible.
You're Old Now is for the senior cat. A pet's face can go on any dancer, so your fifteen-year-old cat can play the retiree in the cardigan: a bingo hall, a porch rocking chair, a golf cart, a cake with too many candles. It's the cat's real face on a person's body doing a creaky dance, and it's exactly as unsettling as you'd hope.
Birthday Superstar is for the cat who already believes it's famous. One face, a red carpet with flashing cameras, a stadium stage with fireworks, and a rooftop pool with flamingos. The cat has always acted like this. Now there's footage.
These work three ways: a card for the cat's own birthday, a birthday card from the cat to its person, or a card for a cat lover with their cat in it. For the last one, any photo off their phone or their Instagram will do. More birthday cards are on the birthday cards page, and any of them can take a cat's face.

Cat birthday card sayings
What to write in a cat birthday card: whatever the cat would say, which is mildly rude, mostly about food, and secretly affectionate. Use these as the card's headline or in a text with it.
From the cat, to its person
- Happy birthday. I have allowed you to live here another year.
- I got you a gift. It's on your pillow. Don't ask what it is.
- Happy birthday to my can opener.
- I love you. Don't make it weird.
- You're old now. I'm older in cat years. We don't talk about it.
- I knocked your birthday card off the table. You're welcome.
- Happy birthday. Feed me.
- Thanks for another year of sitting exactly where I want to sit.
- I'd sing, but I prefer 4 a.m.
For the cat's birthday
- Happy birthday to the real head of the household.
- Happy birthday. You may sit on the keyboard all day.
- Another year of ignoring us. We're honored.
- To the cat who has never once come when called: happy birthday.
- Happy birthday, sweet angel who bites.
- You're nine. Please stop pushing glasses off the counter.
Short, for the big headline
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HUMAN
- FEED ME, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY
- I KNOCKED IT OFF THE TABLE
- MEOW (HAPPY BIRTHDAY)
- PURR-FECTLY OLD NOW

Making it
Cats do not face cameras on request, so here's the trick that tends to work: crinkle a treat bag right above your phone's lens and take a burst. You want both eyes, the nose and the ears, in decent light. Then:
- Open Pawty Animals and add the photo, or take one on your phone.
- Tap to choose which dancer gets the cat. Add the humans if they're invited.
- Type the names for the intro, with the cat's name first. It'll check.
- Watch the free preview with the cat in it.
The faces are real cutouts from your photo with no AI changes, and only the mouths move, so the cat keeps its exact level of disdain. If an ear got clipped, paint it back. If the head is too big for the dancer, shrink it.
Keeping the card is $1.99, with no subscription. Send a share link that plays in any chat, text the MP4, or email it to up to five people from the card page. The cat will not watch it. That's fine. The cat already knows.
