A Tangy Limes anniversary card is a 40-second music video starring the two of you. Upload one photo of you both, and your real faces go on the dancers and sing an original love song, mouths moving to the words. There are six to choose from, running from honestly romantic to cheesy on purpose, and you can preview any of them free.
You can't fit eleven years into a card. You can fit them onto a 1970s shag carpet, which is close.
The romantic ones
Ooh La La Anniversary is the one for people who still hold hands in the grocery store. The Eiffel Tower lit up at night, a little café, a bridge over the Seine covered in love locks, and a riverboat deck strung with lights. The song is very French. You don't have to be.
Still Crazy for You is for couples who've been at this a while. It walks the two of you through the decades: a 1950s sock hop, a 1970s living room with that shag carpet, a 1980s aerobics studio, and a rooftop party in the present day. Seeing your spouse's face in an aerobics class is a gift in itself, and you can say that in the card.
The tall ones, for phones
Wedding Day Again and Vegas Baby Anniversary are made in 9:16, so they fill a phone screen and drop straight into Stories. Wedding Day Again is the do-over: a reception hall with string lights, the dance floor, a flower arch, and church steps with petals falling. This time nobody's cousin gives a speech.
Vegas Baby Anniversary is the elopement you never had, or the one you did and still talk about. The Strip at night, a tiny neon chapel, a casino floor and a hotel balcony. Both of these work with one face or two.
The cheesy one, and the solo one
Power Ballad of Love knows exactly what it is. A 1980s prom with a balloon arch, a golden-hour beach, a glamour portrait studio with a wind machine, and a tacky Las Vegas chapel with an Elvis impersonator. If the two of you have a song you sing badly in the car, this is your card.
Another Year of Us is the one-face card, one dancer per scene. Use it when you're the one doing the declaring, or flip it around and make your partner the star. It's also handy if your partner is the type who ducks out of every photo and you only have one decent picture of their face.
Making it
One photo of the two of you is enough. Both faces get found, and you tap to decide who dances where, which settles nothing about who leads in real life. Type your names, press play, and watch your partner sing you a love song they've never heard. If a head looks big for its dancer, shrink it. If you want the words on screen, turn on captions.
The download is $1.99, and since there's no subscription, nobody bills you again next anniversary. Text it, send a share link, or email it from the card page. Playing it on the TV at the anniversary dinner is also allowed, and strongly encouraged.
